This year various guests will be present at the Luststreifen Film Festival. Experts of all kinds are represented: filmmakers, artists, performance artists, musicians, designers and photographers.

Artist Livio Beyeler works with the medium of dance, theatre and performance.

Nadia Breger is a cultural scientist and works at the Museum der Kulturen.
Arlette Dellers
The FLUX Crew is a young company from Switzerland that realizes interdisciplinary art projects. With the performance Aspiration Arlette Dellers deals with the topic of wom*n's lust.
Michèle Degen
Michèle Degen is a designer from Baselland who works at the gateway of word, image and object. She graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands two years ago.
Olivia Hyunsin Kim & Magda Drozd
Both are dedicated to feminist concerns, which they express in the form of concert performances.
Mariana Egues
Mariana Egues studied at Hyperwerk and now works as a photographer and social media manager. She also works on projects such as the genderless clothing library "rrraaage". She’ll be present at Luststreifen Film Festival with her workshop "Vulva Stickers".
Rick Flynn
Rick Flynn is a filmmaker and documentarist. After his masters degree in "Visual and Media Anthropology" at Freie Universität Berlin, he shot his first feature documentary film "Golf Alpha Yankee" about the problems of LGBT asylum seekers from the Middle East. Flynn is also involved in other human rights projects as a producer.
Godmother
Godmother is a Berlin based band whose drag pop music is infused with critical theory. Joey Hansom, DJ and singer of the band, is a resident at BOO HOO – one of the most notorious underground clubs in Berlin.
Marthe Djilo Kamga
Marthe Djilo Kamga is the founder and current coordinator of the Massimadi Festival. Personally and professionally, she has a great interest in pursuing questions of vulnerability, identity and equal opportunities.
Marie Sabal Lecco
Marie Sabal Lecco is a painter and committed to humanitarian causes. For a good cause she even donates her own work. She regularly holds art workshops for children in and around Paris.
Nadia Lanfranchi
Nadia Lanfranchi studied sociology and Italian literature at the Universities of Zurich and Naples. After graduating, she worked for the Federal Department of Development and Cooperation and for HELVETAS. She produced film and video works for both organisations. Books have accompanied Lanfranchi for a long time - not only does she read, she also writes, especially scripts.
Alizé Rose-May
Alizé Rose-May Monod lives and works between Bern and Lausanne. Her artistic and political practice includes a feminist, anti-racist and anti-capitalist reflection. She examines power relations in society and is interested in memory - the idea of 'collective memory' on the one hand, and memory as 'transgenerational heritage' on the other.
Maryna Makarenko
Maryna Makarenko is a master student in art and media at the Universität der Künste Berlin. In her works she examines anthropological topics such as social theory and social deviations, as well as speculative fiction as a genre and visual characteristics of various materials and their relationship to sound.
Konstantinos Menelaou
Konstantinos Menelaou is an artist and film director who works mainly with video and film. Menelaou moved from Greece to London in 2001, where he completed his MA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martin's College in September 2009 and has since worked on various video projects and short films. Simultaneously to his own practice he produces and curates art exhibitions and events.
Ibrahim Mursal
Ibrahim Mursal is a filmmaker and advertising campaign designer. He has a degree in oil engineering but follows his dream as a filmmaker. He is currently working as author and content creator for 'almawja', the first fictional Sudanese online broadcast show.
Nicoletta Nesler
Nicoletta Nesler began her career in the RAI radio studios. The author is known for her passionate search for an innovative language in dealing with important social issues, especially with regard to the status of disabled people. Inspired by her personal status as a childless woman, the author examines and asks about the reasons for the decision not to want children, which is often not easy, hardly ever mentioned or even completely withheld.
Nina Oppliger
Nina Oppliger knows how to handle pictures. Thanks to her studies in visual communication and her feeling for shapes and colours, she is able to bring messages creatively to the point. For some time now Oppliger has also been creating linguistic images. In order to pursue her passion for the written word and to discover exciting stories, she has completed a Master's degree in cultural journalism.
Corinne Pfister
Corinne Pfister is a social anthropologist and was already involved in film ethnology during her studies. She learned film craft as part of her portfolio training at the School of Design in Bern. Her skills range from conception, camera work and sound to editing.

Carlos Poete is an artist and works in the Papiermuseum.
Anina Riniker
Anina Riniker is an experience and storytelling designer. In 2018 she completed her Bachelor in Industrial Design at the ZHdK.
Franziska Schüpbach
Franziska Schüpbach is an illustrator from Basel with the pseudonym Ziska Bachwas. She studies at the Hyperwerk and is mainly concerned with standards and their deviations.
Sascha
Sascha wasn't always Sascha. But now that's Sascha's name. Sascha was born in the Netherlands in 1992 to a Dutch/Czech couple, and graduated from high school last summer. Sascha is currently studying psychology at the University of Zurich and gender studies in Basel.
Alan David Sangines
Alan David Sangines has been a councillor of the City of Zurich since 2010 and works as a counsel and legal representative for unaccompanied minors. Since his teenage years, he has campaigned for human rights and asylum seekers within the framework of NGOs. For instance, he looked after queer refugees at Queeramnesty. In 2014, as part of his law studies, he wrote a bachelor thesis on how the authorities deal with queer asylum seekers in Switzerland, for which he received the LGBTI Research Prize of the Institute of Queer Studies in 2016. In 2017, functioning as Political Coordinator for Zurich Pride, he dedicated the Pride motto to LGBT refugees. To this day, he remains politically committed to asylum seekers and continues to support queer refugees on a voluntary basis.
Ahmed Umar
Ahmed Umar is a multidisciplinary artist. He currently works with ceramics, jewellery, performances and prints. He came to Norway in 2008 as a political refugee from Sudan and completed his Master in Fine Arts at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts in 2016.
Anna Vogt
Anna Vogt is a Swiss pop and jazz singer. Since 2017 she performs modern original compositions and versatile jazz standards together with pianist Tobias Künzli.
Gina Wenzel
Gina Wenzel successfully completed her studies of social pedagogy in the Netherlands in 2012. Later she started as a freelance documentary filmmaker in the media project Wuppertal, in which she specialized in social topics. Gina then studied "Film and Sound" at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences until 2016 and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies (Diploma 2) with a focus on screenplay and directing at the Kunsthochschule für Medien in Cologne. Her short films have been screened at over 150 national and international film festivals and have won film awards.
Sophie Gysin
Sophie Gysin, born and raised in Basel, is an artist and studied at FHNW Academy of Art and Design (HGK) in Basel.

Ellen Pearson
Ellen Pearson is an experimental filmmaker and artist based in London. Her work pushes the boundaries of documentary, interrogating the intersection between reality and the imagination. Her work often focuses on stories around women+, her first documentary about sexworker, Tilly Lawless, premiered on UK television in 2016.
