Concert: Legion Seven (Basel)

Legion Seven is an artist whose work is an erratic vehicle on a splendid path. This work has lead her through worlds of expression as various as the imagination – their only consistency being an extreme divergence from the cult rigidity into which she was born. Dream mythology, science-fiction, chaos logic, and the exuberant lies of biblical language are all found woven into the strange tapestries of storytelling we experience from Seven today.

Born in Canada and living in Switzerland, Legion Seven has founded and co-founded numerous projects including «The Several Ways I’ve Died In My Imagination», winner of the 2018 Basler Medienkunstpreis.

Oda Haliti (Kosovo)

Oda Haliti is a DJane from Kosovo, establishing a regular presence in music, playing in the most renowned bars, clubs, and festivals across Balkans and Europe. She is a feminist and avid human rights supporter and activist. Her long line of social engagement and work continues to significantly impact the cultural scene in Kosovo.

Oda’s love for music and determination towards experimental sounds has served as a stamp in her style and the professional path as a DJ since 2010 in a professional manner. In the last three years, she has been working intensively on the development of new music projects, touring outside of Kosovo and collaborating with well-known local and international artists.

In the script studio with Luisa Ricar, we develop concrete storylines from vague ideas. Bring your vague approach with you in writing! After a short input we will take a closer look at your idea and develop the next steps in your story.

Taking pleasure into your own hands!

The relationship to our body and our sexuality is influenced by individual experience and action. We want to pursue this individual experience and experiment with approaches to our sexual desire. By different possibilities and ways, the workshop would like to place the body perception in the centre and make something about the individual desire experienceable. The workshop consists mainly of experiments around our perceptions in connection with sexual experience. We feel, perceive, observe, reflect and try out. Each person works for themselves.
